67th individual Stakes Winner for Sebring as our Sebring colt looks to emulate big sister Isotope!

Our Sebring yearling half-brother to Isotope continues to do everything right in his education, recently commencing pre-training at Bahram Training Centre on the Darling Downs. We purchased this striking chestnut colt at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale in January for $450,000 with Tony Gollan & John Foote from Daandine Stud. The southern Queensland stud is the breeding ground of offspring from dam Great Dansaar, the half-sister to Yankee Rose; and, was also where Golden Slipper-winning stallion Capitalist was bred.

Isotope provides significant pedigree updates from the autumn

As a 3yo filly, Isotope has taken all before her with trainer Tony Gollan confident she has more improvement to come. After winning two stakes races in the summer in spectacular fashion, Isotope ventured south for the Autumn Carnival and came away with a win in the Listed Darby Munro 1200m (pictured below) & agonisingly-close 2nd in the Group 2 Arrowfield Sprint 1200m. She is now enjoying a well-deserved spell before embarking on a spring assault.

The family was also buoyed last Saturday with the win of Archedemus in the Group 3 Hawkesbury Cup, adding to his previous two black type successes & win the $1M The Gong, all over the mile. Archedemus is bred to the elite influence (5×5) of Sir Ivor. The duplication of Sir Ivor is also seen in Group 1 winner Mystic Journey, our stakes winner Isotope & now our Sebring yearling.

Sebring continues to star as a sire

Embracer became the 67th individual stakes winner for the deceased Golden Slipper-winning sire Sebring on Saturday taking out the Listed Hawkesbury Gold Rush. Sebring has sired multiple Group 1 winners including Criterion, Dissident, Nettoyer and Egg Tart amongst his 67 stakes winners, and continues to be well entrenched in the top 10 leading sires in Australia for prizemoney, winners & wins.

Oozing professionalism in his work!

Our Sebring x Great Dansaar colt has recently commenced pre-training with Jake Capewell at Bahram Training Centre on the Darling Downs, after enjoying a 6-week spell which followed his breaking in. Jake, who also educated Isotope, commented that he has returned from his spell much stronger and continues to display a sensible nature and professionalism on the track.
